Rates

Below is an overview of the rates effective as of 01-01-2025:

There have been several changes. Please read the following carefully.

Blood Sampling

Blood sampling will only be conducted at the practice during the initial consultation. Unfortunately, periodic (annual) blood tests can no longer be performed at the practice.

Reimbursements

Consultations and/or laboratory tests are not covered by the basic health insurance, even if you are referred by your GP.

Some supplementary insurance policies may partially cover consultations and/or laboratory tests. You can check this with your health insurer (Dr. van Gellicum is a member of AVIG, the Association of Integrative Medicine Physicians, membership number: 1295. Treatments are registered under performance code 24005: treatment ‘other naturopathy’).

Payments

Consultation payments can only be made via PIN (no credit cards) or in cash (exact amount). Of course, you will receive an invoice (via email) for each consultation.

For telephone/online consultations and repeat prescriptions, invoices must be paid within one week of the invoice date.

New rule regarding the payment deadline. Please note!
Unfortunately, many invoices are paid (far) too late. Therefore, as of 01-01-2025, if the invoice is not paid within one week of the invoice date, all future consultations and repeat prescriptions must be paid in advance*. I do not take this measure lightly, but it has proven essential for maintaining a healthy business operation.

* If the consultation exceeds the prepaid time, an additional invoice will be issued for the extra time.

Duration of the consultation

Are you not yet a patient and wish to schedule an initial consultation? Click here.

For the discussion of periodic (annual) comprehensive laboratory results, a 45- or 60-minute consultation is required.

10- and 15-minute consultations (always conducted by phone) are intended for discussing a few complaints only or reviewing a limited number of laboratory results checked due to previous abnormal findings. These consultations are not intended for discussing periodic comprehensive laboratory results. If booked for that purpose, they will be cancelled.

The billed time includes at least the booked consultation duration (however, if the consultation takes longer, the actual duration will be billed), plus the time spent preparing the consultation outcome (e.g., drafting treatment plans or writing referrals/letters). This applies to all consultations, including telephone consultations and the handling/responding to emails.

Repeat prescriptions for personal use requested during a consultation are not billed separately. However, repeat prescriptions for family members or acquaintances are not included in this provision.

First consultation, including blood withdrawal*, but excluding the costs of the actual laboratory testing itself,  maximum 75 minutes€ 250,00
Consultation long, maximum 60 minutes€ 210,00
Consultation regular, maximum 45 minutes€ 175,00
Telephone consultation, maximum 10 minutes**€ 35,00
Telephone consultation, maximum 15 minutes**€ 55,00
Repeat prescription, maximum of 4 medication lines€ 30,00
Repeat prescription, more than 4 medication lines€ 55,00
Replying to e-mail, writing letters / medical referral letters  Required time will be invoiced according to the regular consultation rates
Letter for the purpose of travelling with medication*** € 35,00

* This strictly means the blood withdrawal, NOT the cost of the blood testing by the laboratory. The latter is not included in this price!

**Solely for the purpose of discussing the effects of the treatment, adaptation of (the dosage of) medication and discussing limited laboratory examinations (which means re-testing of previously abnormal or sub-optimal laboratory results).

*** Such a letter does by no means guarantee you can take your medication into the country of destination. This is subject to the applicable laws in the country. Please check this before your departure!
